It was a year ago that Lied had to have a mass euthanasia session that would leave our community in shock. Awarness is higher now then it was then and people are begining to understand that this is a community problem and it is up to us change the situation. On that note I would like to invite everybody out on February 22nd, 2008 in memory of the lives lost last year. We will start the vigil at 6pm until 9pm. Please feel free to bring your furry friends and Lied survivors with you as this will be an occasion to remember those lost and a time to celebrate those who made it out. We hope to see you there.

As always I am not surprised to see so little folks showing up in this huge town this is such a shame! The wonderful rescuers! and media were at " the rendez vous" also few supporters with rescued dogs but what about the others? Public?! everyone? it rain so maybe that was the excuse for the animals and a full shelter well if only they could speak. it was nice to meet and connect with fellow rescuers. For god sake everyone is crying for help on behalf of the animals! we are their voice and they only have us and we only have you for support please make the extra step to help them.!
