Sit Means Sit Dog Training will host a Picnic & Dog Social! Bring your dog to the Hales Pass Community Center am Sunday, August 5th. BARBEQUE AND POTLUCK! Bring whatever food you want to throw on the BarBe and a side dish to share for potluck. We will have some agility equipment in a lovely, grassy, sun & shade area. The building will be open so we can use the kitchen and bathroom. The dogs can play and we can talk about our canine related interests. Kids are welcome! Please contact Kate Johansson for address, directions and details. (fastpup@msn--253.56 9.0411) This will be a fun event with the goal being to be able to meet other like-minded dog lovers and/or professionals. This will be our fourth meetup. The last two were hosted by Pony Tails Ranch in Auburn. We met new friends and our dogs played until they just about dropped. Everyone got along very well. This venue has plenty of room for the dogs but is not fenced. So if you do not have off leash control of your dog, plan to keep him or her leashed. What better way to spend a Sunday than to hang out with dogs and dog lovers--and BARBEQUE? We will be providing water & soft drinks and buckets of water for the dogs. If it is very hot, think about bringing extra water for your dogs in case we need to cool them down. Bring a chair or blanket (or both) to sit on.
