What members are saying
“ Would have liked to have had more people show up and have some input but there will be other meetings and other opportunities to get involved. Remember, it is for the hounds. ...”
“I live in Frazier Park. Basset's own my heart. Mine is 13 yrs old. Her sister passed last year. I love to meet other Basset lovers and help raise funds for the hounds.”
“If you need a meeting place for your group, you are welcome to use our art gallery at the Arts Council of Kern. We currently are showing art that features either a cat and dog and it might be fun for your group. We're non-profit and the meeting place is free. So if you're interested, let me know!”
“Hi, my name is Clark. If a dog or cat needs to be transported to a rescue or forever home, our volunteer group of ARF (Animal Rescue Flights) pilots may be able to help!”
“Welcome, William.
Jill Peterson and I are the gals who run Golden Empire Basset Rescue (GEBR). I have three bassets: Molly, age 9, Boz, age 5 and Charlie, age 3. All three are rescues.
We are planning a get together at University Park when the weather settles down a bit.
We'll keep you informed.
Dian Olmstead”
“Hello to all Basset lovers! We have had seven over the years, all adopted. Speedy I, II, III, Barney, Tucker, Chips and, at present, Jake. We are glad to hear about the Golden Empire Basset Rescue and hope that we can help out in some small way!”
