Two weeks to go and I'm hoping all the hard work that is being put into this event by the volunteers will pay off. I've dreamed about an event like this for several years.

An event where all the proceeds go to rescue and not to some corporation. That event is Barkham. You have all joined this group because you have some link with rescue. You are a volunteer, you have adopted, you have fostered, or you just plain love dogs.

I hope you can join us on June 21st and help us raise a ton of money for the rescue groups that are part of Helping Homeless Pets http://www.helpinghom.... Our member rescues will very much appreciate your help and support.

But more importantly, there are many dogs that we will be able to help because of Barkham. And I would like to think, maybe, just maybe, Barkham will pursuade a few future dog owners to love and cherish their best friends as much as we all do.
